The Master Plan
The Friends have been funded by Lambeth to produce a master plan for the park. A detailed consultation process was undertaken in 2007, involving landscape architects, Cracknell Ferns,
Community Innovation UK and other consultants to identify priority needs and to shape future provision in the park. Once the ideas set out in the master plan are agreed between the
Friends, Residents and Lambeth council the Friends will actively seek funding to implement them. Currently the master plan includes a number of proposals which as follows.
- Demolition of the garages to create a circular path
- Provision of an unfenced dog run
- Creation of a community horticulture project
- Plans for the informal kick about area
- Construction of a new community building
- Renovation of the one o'clock club
- Improvement of the park entrances
- Installation of lightning for the sports facilities
